This is our yellow porch bulb with two changes: more light and a built-in light sensor. It draws 15 watts, gives 1500 lumens, and switches itself on when darkness falls and off again in the morning.
Leave the wall switch on and the bulb takes care of the rest. It works best in an outdoor fixture that sees the sky. Indoors, or under a deep porch roof, the sensor may think it is always night and stay on.

Indoors it may never switch off, because the sensor needs daylight.

Got the two-pack in January and immediately put one at my front door. It has been working fine so far. As with another reviewer, the A21 was just a little too fat for the globe at my back door. Just got around to installing the second bulb at the back door, and it does not work at all. Swapped bulbs just to make sure. The second one is a dud. Payed for two, got one that works.

I bought these for my front porch to use in the summer as a bug light. The light is perfectly bright and is operating well with the dawn to dusk feature. My friend liked mine so much that I gave her the second bulb as the LED should last a long time.

This light bulb does what it says it will do. The brightness is great, there is no motion detection it is a light detector. Goes off in the morning and goes on at night. Works really well. Can’t tell you about longevity yet. Only issue I had was the size, it is a very big bulb and barely fits where I need it to. This is really my fault because it says what size it is.
