Unlike our other night lights, these stay dark until someone moves nearby. The PIR sensor looks out across 120 degrees and about 9.8 feet. When it sees you, the blue arch lights for 25 seconds.
That makes them a good fit for places you pass through: the stairs, a hallway, a closet or a basement landing. The plug leaves the second outlet free, and each light draws 0.5 watts.

Product says picks up motion up to 10 feet, Lucky to pick up at 6 feet. Nice look and great amount of light. Just need to be happy with lesser distance. Mine are stuck in a drawer.

This night light is five stars. I love the auto turn on for those late night bathroom visits. I never have to turn on the bathroom light because the night light provides just enough blue light without making me feel fully awake. The night light is motion detecting, so unless it senses you it won't turn on, which I personally love.
