A small lamp with LEDs at two wavelengths: 660 nanometer red and 850 nanometer near-infrared. The head sits on a 360 degree gooseneck with a metal clamp, and the whole thing runs from a USB port.
One button steps through on, a 10, 20 or 30 minute timer, and off. It is light enough to carry in a bag.
On the box it is called a red light therapy lamp. What red light does or does not do for skin, joints or muscles is a question for your doctor, so here we describe only the lamp itself.

The light itself is very powerful. The timer on the remote doesn’t work 100% of the time though. I’ll turn the timer on and by the time I get suspicious of how long it’s been on, the timer is no longer lit up but the light is still on. Also the eye protection provided is not thick enough.

I keep on hearing great things about red light therapy. I'm almost 50 and my skin isn't as firm and youthful as it used to be. The red light lamp is easy to use. Just plug it into the USB and your ready to go. I work from home and sit at my desk all day. I plug this into the USB and clip it on the side of my desk doing one side of my face at a time.

This light has helped a lot with the healing of a chronic wound and for quickly reducing neuraglia discomfort. New healthy skin is emerging. Careful not to over use. Sunburn can happen.

This was so inexpensive, I just just had To order it. I love the fact it does not have a traditional outlet plug, it has a USB plug and although that might sound odd it's really a blessing. Because, you can take this with you in the car, on a long road trip, on a camping trip if you have a battery pack you can plug it in and use it in your tent.
