BR30 is the reflector shape used in most recessed ceiling cans. This UV version draws 15 watts, nearly twice the A19, and spreads UVA light at 385 to 410 nanometers across a wider area.
Screw it into a can light and the whole ceiling becomes a black light. It measures 3.7 by 3.7 by 5.2 inches, so check that your fixture takes a BR30 before you order.

Got these bulbs to put in my motion sensor unit for Halloween, so they weren't exposed directly to dew or rain, plus didn't get a chance to overheat since they were on for ten minute durations. They have excellent illumination and everything glowed the entire length of my driveway...

I use to sleep with them on as night light it gives my room an Arcadey feel to it so I use to keep them on until sunrise for about 8 hours each night. I am just shocked that one of them died after 10 months of use. They are LEDs and very bright compared to my fluorescent black lights that are darker. I am rebuying them again since they are cheap.
